From this point the blog will take a slightly different turn, and hopefully get more updates.
So in early July my wife and I decided to try to become home owners.
I work for Jenesys Buildings, a company which designs energy efficient “flatpak” prefab houses.
Whatever the company provides we will get at near cost, and I am able to leverage the knowledge of the company and the architects throughout the whole process. From picking materials to choosing contractors we will have a great support network.
With house prices being what they are, we should be able to build a house perfectly suited for us for what it would cost to get an older house with lesser specifications. No worrying what is behind the drywall.
It is a very exciting time for us and I will be taking lots of pictures and describe the process we follow.
